Can you tell we're sick??

Henry and I are both sick. Cory is still getting over this cold, but mostly recovered. He's doing an excellent job taking care of us. He brought us orange juice and tissues. He cleaned the kitchen. Gave Henry his bath. He's such a good man.
My Mom, Dad and brother stopped in briefly to drop off homemade soup (THANKS MOM!!) and homemade Raspberry Sour Cream Pie (THANKS MOM AND DAD!!).
All this to say - I don't plan to post much until next week. Lord willing, we'll all be recovered by then. But who knows, maybe blog posting will be exactly what I do while I'm sick. So far I've just been nursing my baby, and lying on the couch watching The Waltons series.
Blessings!

Hi Vanessa, I live north of Sydney, Australia. It is nice to meet you and enjoyed your blog. I also lived in Ottawa for 10 years (I think that is where you are)ice skating on the canal and the tulip festival bring back memories.Enjoy your wee one, they grow sooo fast.I do have a wonderful pattern for soaker pants that goes over cloth nappies (diapers)if you would like it.I see that you don't have a washer/dryer but it might be useful down the track a bit.Let me know if you would like it.Cheerio from cold Ballina but summer is on its way.Gillian
Hi Sweetie,
Hope you're feeling better today!
Oh well, on the bright side, there are lots worse places to be than cuddling with Henry and watched a great old TV series.
Love you
Mom
Nursing and watching the Walton series sounds good to me...sick or not! Rest is what you need. Those summer colds are wicked. I just got over one too. Praying you are feeling better very soon.
It sucks when either you're either sick yourself or your baby is sick. Hope you both feel better soon. Lazing in front of the tv just cuddling & feeding baby sounds the perfect way to recover
Gillian - So neat that you lived in Ottawa for 10 years! It is a lovely city, but from what I've seen of Australia it's also beautiful. I'd love to go someday!! If it's easy for you to send me that pattern I'd definitely love to file it away. I'm still a beginner sewer but I'm really working on it :)
Mom - there are DEFINITELY worse places to be :)
Bren - one day in Glory they'll be NO cold's or sickness at all!! I'm glad you're over yours, thanks for the prayers :)
Toria - Thanks for the well wishes. My recovery plan is definitely working so far :)
