A while ago I asked for prayer for one of my best friend's sons who had been in a catastrophic car accident. He suffered a profound brain injury and it is truly a miracle that he is still here today. He has been at the children's hospital for almost 6 months now, and will be released permanently in early September. Luca's parents blessed us with a visit on Saturday while Luca was released home for the weekend.
Henry was SO VERY happy to see Luca. Dancing and hopping around his special stroller so much that I could barely catch a photo. After the joy and excitement at seeing each other they hunkered down and watched Veggie Tales -- just like old times :)
We spent some time in the pool and enjoyed some BBQ :)
