Christmas House 2011

Kitchen Eating area: Left most frame is our Christmas Photo Card from this year. Seasonal (pinecones/cedar) mealtime candle centre piece, Waldorf window stars, and stockings

Kitchen sink area: Pot-Rack silver bling, ornaments and small tree

Dining Room: Side table mercury glass and Pine cone tree, Chandelier ornaments, pine cone/candle centre piece and window wreath

Living Room: *Ginormous* tree (you can't really tell from these photos, but my husband got a little excited. He found a beautiful, albeit XXL, tree), window wreath

Outside: first year with a few outside lights. Red berry wreath, lanterns and red touches. Coloured lights.

I kept it simple this year. Using some found natural materials (pine cones, etc.) and what we already had (the wreaths were made by my dad and used as decor from Cory and my Wedding). I take such joy in creating a space that is beautiful and comfortable for my family. It would never make for a magazine spread, but it is beautiful to us.

Encouraged, we recognise the importance of living artistically, aesthetically and creatively as creative creatures of the creator.

Vanessa,
It is very elegant. I took some pictures yesterday of our house, but now I don't know if I want to post them after I've seen your house. And I love how big your tree is, that's awesome! :)

Umm...love it all! Love the peaceful scene it all creates. By the way, I adore Edith Schaefer as well. I am visiting from the Christmas blog hop.
Blessings,
