Wee Boy Update

Henry has the most wild imagination. Most days he requests a "dragon tail" (don't tell him it's actually an apron with the strings tied tightly). Two sticks have been living in my house for a few weeks now -- can't you see? They are fiddle and a bow, rhino horns and, or course, swords (watch out Samuel!), amongst many other things.

The warmer weather has meant rediscovering the backyard and Samuel has taught Henry how to get really dirty. And so they do.

The past month Henry and Samuel have been playing together more then not. It is such a blessing to watch this friendship and brotherhood grow. They can often be found running around the house chasing each other.

Samuel is so very busy and fast these days. He started walking when he was just shy of 13 months and hasn't stopped running yet!

He falls down incessantly, despite my cries" "SAM! Slow down! Watch where you're going! Sam stop! OH NO! SAM!"

And, like I mentioned above, Samuel has taken dirty to a whole other level. He really should have multiple baths every day, but usually we keep it down to one before bed and many swabbings down with a damp cloth so we can look decent at the park. Dear future wife of Samuel. I am sorry. He was born this way. I am praying that the Lord blesses you with an appreciation for the intensity and curiosity required to get this dirty. May you like to clean, or not notice the mess.

Samuel adores Baby Lexi. Really, how could you not? Because of her he now says Baby, a lot. He also says Mommy, Daddy, car, bird and ball.

Mama loves you dear boys!
