On Saturday we attended the lovely wedding of friends from our church and on Sunday we headed out to my parent's home after worship.
Monday was the first day of Cory's last week of vacation this summer! We spent the day doing odd jobs as well as preparing for a visit to Southern Ontario to visit Cory's sister Melissa, her husband Chris, and their 14 month old daughter Eleanor
While there we enjoyed great fellowship, yummy food, a trip to Port Dalhousie and the local Dutch Store. We also brought home several bushels of Peaches for friends and family (I'm sure you'll read about my Mom's canning over at her blog!). Henry really adored Eleanor and was insistent that he kiss her.
He even didn't mind when Eleanor took his ball away :)
Today, Friday, has been a day of unpacking (we arrived home late Thursday), tidying up, laundry, crafts and lots of playing and cuddles. Saturday Cory and I are at my parents for a delicious supper of Ribs. MMMmmm
Sunday is Worship and visiting with the van der Meer family (Cory's parents and siblings).
Next week I'll be back to my regular posting, Lord willing :)
